ASAR-SAANYS Committees |
I Standing Committees are established in the By-Laws of ASAR-SAANYS and carry out prescribed functions. Members are appointed by the President and serve overlapping terms of two years.
II Special Committees are designed for a particular need not covered by any of the Standing Committees. Members are appointed by the President with consent of the Executive Council and serve until the specific charge of the committee is completed.
III Labor-Management and Joint ASAR-SAANYS-RCSD Committees are those established in the contractual agreement between ASAR-SAANYS and the District. Members are appointed by the President, subject to the consent of the Executive Council, and serve one-year terms.
IV Careers in Administration/Supervision Panel is composed of representatives of the District and ASAR. It is composed of members selected by the Secondary Principals Council, the Rochester Council of Elementary Leadership (RCEL) and members appointed by the President, all subject to the consent of Executive Council. They serve overlapping terms of two years.
Service on all Committees is open to all ASAR-SAANYS members.
